Культурный Фонд Still Art Foundation и Центр Фотографии имени братьев Люмьер в рамках программы по развитию и поддержке fashion-фотографии в России представляют выставку Данила Головкина «FACES».

Данил Головкин – один из самых часто публикуемых российских глянцевых фотографов. В его послужном списке сотрудничество с такими журналами, как Vogue, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar. Он делал обложки для GQ, Tatler, Glamour, Esquire, l’Officiel.

Путь Данила в fashion-фотографии начался больше 10 лет назад со съемки для одного из специальных изданий журнала ELLE. Получив свой счастливый билет в мир глянцевой фотографии, Данил, благодаря колоссальной работоспособности и таланту, прочно обосновался на страницах крупнейших модных изданий.

Художник-график по образованию, он делает не просто востребованные изданиями съемки, но создает уникальные образы для главных «лиц» российского глянца.
О месте Головкина в мире модной фотографии красноречиво говорит его портфолио звездных портретов. В объективе фотографа побывали все главные российские медийные персоны: от Алены Долецкой, Федора Бондарчука и Теодора Курентзиса до Натальи Водяновой, Сергея Полунина и Паулины Андреевой. Данилу Головкину доверяют свои портреты и звезды мировой величины – Наоми Кэмпбелл, Эдриан Броуди, Джерард Батлер, Филипп Старк, Джорджио Армани, Джон Гальяно, Доменико Дольче и Стефано Габбана.

Данил показывает героев своих историй с новых, неожиданных сторон. На его фотографиях – меланхолично-задумчивый бунтарь Баста, трогательная Алла Борисовна и словно сошедшие с картин эпохи Возрождения Александр Гудков и Аглая Тарасова. Сделанные им портреты моментально завоевывают социальные медиа и становятся визитными карточками героев.

DANIL GOLOVKIN. FACES

As part of a program for the development and support of fashion photography in Russia, the Still Art Foundation and the Lumiere Brothers Center for Photography present the Danil Golovkin exhibition FACES.
Danil Golovkin is one of the most frequently published fashion photographers in Russia. He collaborates with magazines such as Vogue, ELLE and Harper’s Bazaar. He has produced covers for GQ, Tatler, Glamor, Esquire, and L’Officiel. Danil’s journey in fashion photography began more than 10 years ago with a shoot for a special edition of ELLE magazine.
After breaking through into the world of glossy photography, Danil, with his great efficiency and talent, became a firm favourite for the largest fashion publications. A graphic artist by trade, he takes more than just photographs that are popular among the magazines.
Golovkin occupies an important place in the world of fashion photography, as demonstrated by his portfolio of star portraits. All of Russia’s most celebrated media personalities have been in front of the photographer’s lens: from Alena Doletskaya, Fedor Bondarchuk and Theodore Currentzis to Natalia Vodyanova, Sergey Polunin and Paulina Andreeva. Dani lGolovkin is also trusted by international celebrities—Naomi Campbell, Adrien Brody, Gerard Butler, Philippe Starck, Giorgio Armani, John Galliano, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
Danil portrays the heroes of his stories from original and unexpected perspectives. In his photos, we see an unlooked-for melancholic Basta, a touching Alla Borisovna, and Alexander Gudkov and Aglaya Tarasova, who seem to have come straight out of a Renaissance painting. His portraits are an instant hit on social media and become iconic images of the people they represent.
Elena Karisalova, the founder of the Still Art Foundation, notes,
“Until now, Danil’s photographs had only been seen on the pages and covers of leading magazines. This is the first exhibition of the talented photographer in a museum. I am confident that this project, organized in collaboration with the Lumiere Brothers Center for Photography, will put Russian fashion photography on the right track toward entering the international art market.”
The exhibition will feature more than 60 works by Danil — his iconic portraits will be transferred from the pages of glossy magazines to the museum space.
Still Art Foundation will present the monograph of Danil Golovkin for the opening of the exhibition. The presentation of the book will be held on May 15.
All the visitors of the Center for Photography will be able hear the audio-guide for the exhibition recorded by the author himself.
